12th MAKERS’ DAY! Event Report
2024/11/24 (Sunday) 10:30–16:00 / Clear skies, 10–14°C
Our 12th MAKERS’ DAY brought something extra special this time with the secondhand clothing stuffing event and dog-themed activities planned for the outdoor venue. We couldn’t have asked for better weather—it was a picture-perfect day with clear blue skies, no wind, and a pleasantly warm temperature. Truly ideal for an outdoor event! ☀️
The secondhand clothing stuffing event was an instant hit, kicking off even before the official start time. Participants of all ages joined in the fun, from young children to an 87-year-old grandmother! (Mars joined the fun at the end and managed to bag 11 items! 👔👚) This activity was so popular, it might just become a MAKERS’ DAY tradition!
Our dog event was a tail-wagging success! A diverse lineup of adorable pooches, including poodles, beagles, Shibas, and bearded collies, came to play. (There was even a massive, fluffy mystery dog that melted hearts!) Some visitors just happened to be out for a stroll with their dogs and decided to join in the fun. 🐕🚶♀️ We’ll definitely be bringing this back in the future—don’t miss it!
In addition to these special attractions, we offered festive workshops for making Christmas ornaments and wreaths, freshly harvested sweet potatoes and apples, delicious seasonal food and hot drinks, as well as crowd-favorite games and activities. The day was packed with fun and excitement, creating joyful memories for everyone who attended.
A heartfelt thank-you to all our visitors and vendors who made the event such a success. The CREW (event staff) team is already hard at work to ensure the next MAKERS’ DAY will be just as amazing. We can’t wait to welcome you again!
